Imagine that coin is kept on a stiff card covering an empty glass tumbler standing on a table. When the card is flicked with the finger the coin placed over it falls in the tumbler. Why?

because of the property of inertia of mass
the coins mass is forced downwards
and when the card is flicked it dosent gets disturbed and maintains its property
and falls down.
