The frog was not actually impressed by nightingale's singing , he was jeloused by him. Now there was someone who can complete with him.
Even when nightingale came he boasted himself that he was the writer of bog's weekly magazine. and hr was best singer of that place. he wanted to teach the nightingale so that he don't compete with him.

Well according to me, frog can be a good singer. His only enemy is his greediness and over confidence, but If he ever happened to become nightangale student, he will surely practise hard. And might surpass nightangle as well, because we all know practice makes a man perfect.
