When Alien Ants Visited Our School
I was lost in grappling with an algebra sum in my math class,
when I heard the commotion. It appeared as if the sky had been covered with
some dark clouds. I felt all the students were rushing out of their classes and
gathering in the lawns. There appeared to be panic in the air. Someone came
panting into our class and shouted, “Come out all of you and see what is
happening outside!!” Our math teacher rushed out of the class and looked up
towards the sky, his consternation quite visible on the face. He gestured to
the class to come out.
As I along with the class came out, I saw the entire sky
over our school building hidden behind a big saucer-like disc that had
thousands of lights of many colours blinking madly. “Was it an alien ship?”,
thought I.
My fear was confirmed when from the alien ship a huge ramp
like structure began sliding towards the ground. As it touched our ground, two
colossal ants began climbing down threateningly towards the ground. Petrified by
the sight, the students began screaming and ran to hid themselves in the
classes.
The ants began advancing towards us. They were as tall as
the poles that hold electric wires. Fortunately, there was no electric cable
around, otherwise they could have got entangled in it or perhaps been electrocuted.
I noticed the ants were observing the things around
intelligently, as if admiring in appreciation. Trusting my gut-feeling, I stood
my ground. I decided to go towards them. As they saw me coming, they stopped. To
my surprise, they stopped and spoke the following words: “Please don’t be
afraid. We are students like you from a planet called, Urantia. We are here on
an assignment to make an academic project to collect data about a school on the
Earth. We have almost done the job. We are about to go. Thanks for your
cooperation!”
No sooner had they said it than they turned towards the ramp and began climbing towards the ship. The ramp slid back into the ship; and the alien disk hovering over our school building hurtled skyward and disappeared.
