Imagine that you are a historian what sources would you use to know about history of your state. ?

There are several way that history is recorded, if I am a historian I would use these sources to know more about the history of my state.
There are two main types of historical source; Primary Sources and Secondary Sources. These are:

1. Letters
2. Diaries
3. Speeches
4. Newspaper articles from that time
5. Oral history interviews
6. Legal Documents
7. Photographs/Pictures
8. Artifacts
9. Journals
10. Statistical data
11. Books
12. Sound and Video recording
13. Manuscript
14. Autobiography

These are some of the sources that I would use.
