This is a report about the launch of " The Clean Yamuna Campaign". "The Municipal Corporation of Delhi" launched this campaign week-long. It was inaugurated by the "Environment Minister Mr. Sudhanshu Gupta".

Many volunteers, school children and industrialists gathered. So they worked along the banks of Yamuna. Not only banks but boats were used to pull out the waste material from the river.

Lots of garbage, polythene bags were seen with shock and those wastes are collection. It was from the side of the school children who felt sad about the elders not caring for the environment.

Not only polythene bags, but even industrial waste also polluted the river. After this campaign, the Industrialists pledged to take the necessary steps to avoid throwing waste on the river.
