Answer:

Your honor and respected citizens, I am here to tell you all that I have not committed any crime.

I have the crime innumerable times and I am literally tried for inciting rebellion.

According to the minimum wage laws, the wages thus should have been increased but this did not happen.

Also, we get to eat one meal a day, as there is no money to buy more food. So what is wrong if I demand an increase in wages?

I want an immediate action in my defense and bring some happiness into my life.

Answer:

SPEECH IN MY DEFENSE OF THE STRIKE IN THE YEAR 1905:

Your honour,

I plead, not guilty. I am a worker in a textile factory. All the workers gathered in the strike did not take any violent attempts yet we were hit by the policemen present there. This Sunday, every working professional was there, including doctors and lawyers. The union of the working people decided that a strike is needed for the welfare of us including our future generation. If we do not fight for liberty, then there might be no one to have the courage to stand for what's right. It is not the first time we have requested my minimalistic rights. Time and again, we have been denied. We had no other way other than to form a unity and fight for ourselves. And, instead of listening to our ideas, we were beaten and tormented. Many workers died and hundreds of them are injured. The irony is, that I am here pleading for justice whereas the murderers who are responsible for the mass murder are roaming freely in uniform provided by the government. If the government can not protect us and ensure our minimalistic rights, I have nothing else to say except for the fact that I am not guilty. Asking for what is mine is not unconstitutional.

Thank you.
