My Beloved Youths,

Through this letter I want to ask you all that is there any person in our country that doesn't want to see our country to be a developed and a progressive one? I am absolutely sure that all of us wants to see our country as a developed one.

So, to make our country a developed one, the first step is to bring about a change in our country by bringing social awareness among all the young children including youths.

Therefore, I request you all to be an active citizen being a youth and to be aware of everything happening in and around.

Yours,

Gandhiji

Answer:

Dear Youth:

I hope this letter finds you in great health and spirits and chasing your dreams. I am writing this letter to all of you to appeal you to bring about many changes in the country. I gave the youth of India this message: ‘Be the change that you want to see’.

Unfortunately, my message has not been practiced much; as a result my beloved India remains bogged up in many problems. These problems won’t go on their own. You will have to launch movements and revolutions against them. If I had not raised my voice against the injustice and oppression of the British, they would never have gone out of India. If I had not fought against the social evils, they would have persisted for a long time.

Similarly, you will have to raise voice against the contemporary ills. Corruption, pollution, environmental degradation, exploitation in private and Government sectors need new revolutions. Kindly wean yourselves from sensual pleasures and do something for the nation. I have quite high hopes in you. I am sure you will make India a great nation of peace, prosperity, and abundance. I send you all my blessings.

Yours lovingly,

Bapu Gandhi
