There should be dustbins available in malls, public places, parks etc. Street vendors selling eatables should make it a point to have and use dustbins. Sadly, our city lacks proper garbage disposal but that should not be an excuse for littering

There is a shortage of trash disposal cans in our city. This makes waste management difficult. Most of the dumpsters provided by SMC are always overflowing with garbage so a person is forced to discard his or her trash elsewhere.

 

The significance of cleanliness and hygiene cannot be overlooked by any society. Every faith and civilization stresses upon the importance of cleanliness and purity, both physical and spiritual. Cleanliness is termed as an indispensable fundamental of our faith, however this fundamental and powerful tenet of our faith is not reflected in our society practically. Our city is overflowing with garbage. Huge heaps of garbage on roads and public places have become a usual sight. Is it the lack of ample dustbins or is it our lack of civic sense?
