Respected Sir/ Madam,
I am writing this letter in view of my deep anguish towards the unrelenting problem of addiction, substance abuse and intoxication. I would like you to publish an issue in your newspaper to spread awareness about the same.
The alchohol, Smoking, tobacco and drug addiction not only affects our physical health but also our personal, social and professional life. The society as a whole becomes weak and irresponsible. These substances give temporary happiness but do permanent destruction.
This problem is quite widespread in India. As a lot of people read your newspaper, I request you to publish an article about the ill-effects of these things in our lives.
