Letter to my friend, Vipul, describing how I rendered help to my son:

Hi Vipul,

How are you? I am fine. It has been a long time I wrote a letter to you. I want to discuss something important about my son. You know that my son Swami is in 10th grade. He is going to have his public exams in two months. He was scoring good marks in all subjects except maths. Then I enquired about his teacher about his performance in mathematics.

He said he could not do anything special for Swami as he has 100 students to deal with. I asked him in which part Swami is lagging?. He said he has an understanding problem. I wondered how he could get good marks in other subjects if he has an understanding problem.

Then I checked his notes and came to know that the teacher’s classes ware very fast and most of the students could not cope up with the speed. Then I went to the bookshop and bought the basic conceptual books of mathematics.

I started to teach him the basics for one hour on a daily basis. Now he is also showing improvement in the marks. I am happy about the output. As parents we should not only focus on earning money, we should also understand the difficulties of the children and help them. Hope you agree with me.
