An informal letter based on the given article can be written as follows:

B/302

Suyog

West Bengal

29th January 2021

Dear Puja,

How have you been? How are uncle and auntie doing? I hope everything is well and safe at your end. These are trying times where family support is much needed for mental as well as physical health. Do practice yoga at home, and try to get your family members to do the same as it is a beneficial activity.

Recently I read a news article about the 10- day lockdown that has been enforced in Mumbai in the metropolitan region, which includes your hometown Dombivali. I was quite concerned for you and your family's safety so I am writing this letter in hopes to give you some advice since I have experienced a lockdown recently myself.

The essential services shop will be open, so no need for panic buying grocery items. In such times do try to use online apps like Grofers and Swiggy, which will deliver the needed items straight to your doorstep and you can avoid going outside. In case there is a medical emergency, do not worry about traveling for such purposes, as it is allowed even during the lockdown. Always sanitize your hands after entering your house, and wear a proper mask if you have to go outside. If you take all the precautions, you will be safe from the ongoing pandemic. Do try to engage in family activities, as it will be beneficial for your mental health.

I do hope this pandemic ends soon as I miss you very much and wish to meet you as soon as possible. Do write back to me and tell me how your dog Bruni is doing nowadays. Take care of yourself, and your family, and be safe.

Yours lovingly

Vini Patil
