The place of Mohenjo Daro was well established by the people living there. If we could have been among the ones who were living in Mohenjo Daro, our way of living and standards of living would have been much different from now. The Farmers in the Mohenjo Daro used to live in the area near to rivers because the land near the river is fertile and it is easy for the farmers to grow crops. They used to speak Prakrit language which is now transformed into Sanskrit.

People of Mohenjo Daro were part of largest culture known as Harappan Culture. The people of Mohenjo Daro were expert in architecture and they built the area with rectilinear buildings. The building were mainly built by fired bricks. These were often built on hills to combat the flood. Granary is the largest building which is found in Mohenjo Daro. The Mohenjo Daro is now referred to as Mounds of Dead. The people who were once living there are now just a history.
