All I can remember is the moment I dozed off to sleep counting sheep's. Almost after a, I believe a minute or so I was squinting my eyes by the power of light on my eyes.
I flickered it open and was surprised how early the sun has risen. but it was just 2 at the might when I fell asleep how could this be possibly happening?
I pinched my face hard, hard enough to leave a scar for weeks.
she looked up to me and gave me that angelic smile that I wasn't ever able to forget.
I didn't know I was crying until warmness touched my cheek.
I went to her with trembling feet.
"Grandma, is that you? you?"
her beautiful voice echoed through the room with her fits of laughter
"Why my child? Have you forgotten that your grandma is still alive?"
"But how's this possible?
" What?"
"You, how's this possible?" I pointed at her
She looked at me puzzled and then touched my forehead as checking the temperature. Her one-touch melted me into milliseconds.
"You don't have a fever while you acting this way makes me worried bacha" concern lacing her voice.
"No, ma" I take her hands into mine and explained everything
She sat there silent for a good minute
"Bacha, I know you never lie. but this is insane. this has never happened. it's probably your dream"
She strokes her hands on my hair simultaneously
and carasses my cheeks
"This is real."
I look up at her, she nods.
"What do you mean, ma?"
"Your emotions are real, not me Bacha" I swear there I heard her voice cracked.
"Ma... I don't know where you are getting at"
She sat silently for painful 2 minutes neither of us uttered a word as if silence was filling up that void.
"It's time to leave," she said ignoring my gaze
"Ma. But--" she cuts me in half
"You promised you won't cry"

"No bacha. Always remember I love you and I live to love you"
"Ma no... wait just a minute" and with that, she vanished away like sand and me desperately running behind her.
Suddenly I saw myself sitting on my bed short of breath and trying the caught my breath. and then I realized it was a dream.
