My parents have not been much supportive of my decisions. Upon informing them of my choice of picking B Tech as a career option, I faced much criticism. They suggested that I list my pro's and con's once again and stick to Engineering as a profession. I tried to share my feelings as to how my passion does not reside in engineering but they brought up the topic of how much they have invested in me and that my time would be wasted this way.
I felt awful because my parents didn't understand me, nor did they consider that I should be allowed to pursue what I desire.
