I was always excited, because I loved a new chance to explore a new side of me. You know, when you’re a kid you are quickly pushed into a labelled box, you’re the cool kid or the nerd or whatever. But I always hated that, since people are so much more diverse and complex than a single label. So being the new kid allowed me to show new sides.

I also was excited to reuse my old jokes lol.

I am a little introverted and observational, but most students will be curious about you. Depending on which class you get in and who is in there, maybe they will strike a conversation, maybe not.

A tip might be, food connects people so quickly. If you’re the new and only new kid, maybe bring some little candy or cookies to share. You don’t even have to say anything when you offer them.

Overall just don’t panic. If you panic, you will become clumsy and anxious. You have a long time to get to know everyone, and as long as you’re relaxed, people will come to you. And if someone is nasty to you, they don’t deserve your time anyway. And if someone is nice to you, be nice back. Say hi, how are you doing, what is up next, did you do the homework, etc. etc.

Take it as a new chance to explore new sides of you and new friends who will show you lots of new, amazing things. Have fun!

This was my tips for you enjoy!!!
