It was a bright, sunny day, but I was feeling really lonely. We just moved into this village and I had no friends. I am shy, so it's not my forte either. Because of this, I preferred reading books and exploring the nature around me. Speaking of, there was a forest behind our house, so I headed there. I walked, and walked, and walked, until I barely knew where I was. Lost and afraid, I ran around, covered in twigs and bruises, when I suddenly stumbled upon a magnificent sight: a huge piece of paradise with a gushing waterfall! The waterfall was pouring into a small pool, and the water was as clear as a crystal. Soft grass covered the ground nearby, and the rocks glinted in the sunlight. Excited, I ran over to a nearby rock, and the birds gathered there flew off to the air with a flash. Splash! It sounded as I played in the water, droplets splattering everywhere. All day I played, until I got tired and muddy all over. Exhausted, I made my way home. When mum met me at the door, I was dirty and tired, but I was smiling. I had so much fun!
