It is housed in purana quila in new delhi. First of all we saw water-birds, dusks and cranes in a pond. On the side were apes and monkeys in different cages. The monkeys were jumping on the branches of the trees. In order cages lions, tigers, wolves, bears, foxes and zebras were kept.
The lion was sleeping and the lioness was playing with cubs. They look very fearful. We also saw deer and langaroos. Then we came to the glass – houses. Birds and snakes or different kinds and colours were kept in them. Last of all we enjoyed an elephant ride and returned home.

- I got the opportunity to visit a nearby farm last week along with my family. I was very excited as this opportunity would help me connect with nature. I saw many kinds of animals that were reared for milk, eggs, meat, etc.
- The atmosphere there was chaotic yet beautiful. The farmer introduced us to the birds of the farm. We say turkeys, goose, chickens, and ducks. We also saw the eggs of these birds and how they differed from the others.
- We also saw horses and ponies that were grazing out in the field. We learned an interesting fact that ponies and horses are measured using hands.
- I also got a chance to go to the milking station where I saw how goats and cows are milked. Then we went to see the shearing station for sheep.
- It is through this farm trip that I learned the masculine and feminine forms of many animals. Goose is the female, while its male is the gander. Mare is the female horse, while stallion is the male. Doe is the female goat while the buck is the male. The female turkey is called a hen, while its male is called a gobbler/stag/tom. The female of the chicken is a hen while its male is cock/rooster. The female duck is called a hen/duck while its male is called a drake.
