Doctor: No, it just coiled around me...
Me: Then, did it go away?
Doctor: Yes it is on my table looking at itself in the mirror, I am not going back to that home.
Me: Okay doctor, we have extra space with us here, why don't you spend the night with us to allow for the departure of your unexpected visitor.

Dialogue between me and the doctor in the lesson “The Snake and The Mirror”
Me: Hey Arthur! What’s the matter? Why are you out of breath?
Doctor: Just a minute…
(Pause)
Me: Come in! You must sit down.
Doctor: Thank you my friend. I was so scared and ran so fast that I couldn’t breathe for some time.
Me: Scared? What happened? Tell me.
Doctor: I was sitting when a snake coiled around my left arm above my elbow. Seeing it I became motionless and didn’t dare to move. Suddenly, I ran as fast as I could without looking back. And now here I am.
Me: Oh My God! That’s a near death experience.
Doctor: Yes it is and I have learnt my lesson.
Me: Oh! What’s that?
Doctor: At that moment of fear of death, I realised that God’s for real. I understood I was being punished for being too proud and arrogant. I’m human and shouldn’t boast about anything.
Me: Then what happened?
Doctor: As soon as I realised the snake crawled off and went near the mirror in my chamber, I ran out of the door keeping everything open.
Me: You could have called for help? Somebody would have helped you to take the snake out of the chamber.
Doctor: I couldn’t think straight. You are right. I’ll be going tomorrow morning but not now.
Me: It’s your decision but going now would have been the best. Anyways, you rest now. Do what you think is best for you in the morning.
Doctor: Thanks my dear friend.
Me: Don’t mention it.
