The Indian democracy has gained a considerable maturity over the years, yet the following two fundamental changes will hep in addressing many challenges faced by Indian democracy:
There should be greater awareness among people especially youth about political process and governance of the country. This will encourage their interest and participation in the same.
There is an urgent need to strengthen inner party democracy in Indian political parties so that more meritorious and popular people find way in the political recruitment.
