Interview with a scientist who worked in a spacecraft for Earth’s observation on climate and weather.

Monitor: Good morning sir. It is a pleasure to welcome you to our school.

Scientist: Good morning. Thank you.

Monitor: What have the discoveries that lead up to your current spacecraft?

Scientist: The spacecraft is born when we found when there is a huge change in the weather pattern and climatic conditions in different parts of the world.

Monitor: Can you highlight an example of a different weather pattern, sir?

Scientist: Yes. Two years back in India, there was a huge drought in most of the states. Last year there is enormous rainfall and some states are flooded heavily. Our spacecraft will analyze the earth’s geographical pattern and the green cover in all parts of the world.

Monitor: Can we preserve our environment and mother earth from the data observed?

Scientist: Yes of course. It is observed that China and India have a 9 percent increase in the green cover in the last few years. If we increase the vegetation, the earth can be saved from drought and also trees can hold the water in the roots thereby preventing global warming. Also, all kinds of pollution should be reduced.

Monitor: Would you like to address any particular issue to the students.

Scientist: Future generations should predict and preserve mother earth by planting more trees. Also, we should reduce the use of vehicles and should keep the place clean which reduces the air and water pollution respectively.

Monitor: Sure sir. We will take an oath from now on. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity.

Scientist: Glad to be here. Thank you.
