Yes there is a relation between the body size of an organism and it's lung size. As the body size of an organism increases the complexity also increases and also the requirement of oxygen increases to perform all the metabolic activities, so more amount of oxygen is to be inserted and therefore the lung size of an elephant is competitively large.

The lungs are used to breathe as the size of the body increases it wanted to have more oxygen so lungs are design based on the size of the organism
