Imagine we are throwing a loaded die (6 sides). The probability that the die shows a 6 is twice as high as the probability of each of the other numbers. On average, out of these 70 throws, how many times would the die show the number 6? Out of 70 throws.

Answer:

20 times die show the number 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Probability of number other than 6 is   X

then Probability of 5 number = 5X

Probability of Six = 2X

5X + 2X = 7X

7X = 1

=> X = 1/7

Probability of 6  = (2/7)

if Dice is thrown 70 time

die show the number 6 = (2/7) * 70 = 20

20 times die show the number 6
