A Letter to you

It's been really very long since we've crossed the age of writing letters in that simple yellow , torn , paper which represented the love , care and affection of the masses .
I am the witness of that exemplary times , the times which have been long lost .. why? because I Am A Letter - the symbol of memories , the first thing that striked the minds of commoners and rich alike when they had to pass a message . I resembled high importance .. o was the supreme of what i conveyed. I would love to describe my glorious and extravagant journey which has resulted in a torn state.
I was not as long as some thousand years ago when the material on which I was written on , yeah! the paper.. my workspace as you may call it was invented .. people began to write , work , arrange data , on it.. that I was the time I evolved . It was like a beautiful moment for me to be etched into the paper.. to make my creation. That was the time when my evolution exemplified its position .
Soon, the time was near when I was in each and every person's hands when they felt the need to convey anything to their near and dear ones , or any kind of kingly work to transport money , messages , at the time of war .. i was the only medium of notification... and till today when I've reached the extreme desertification level of my life , i feel proud to say I've served millions.
Times began to change slowly , it was the time of gradual but extraordinary renaissance . Still , there were newer mediums of communication .. like the telegraph , telegram , fax machines and the telephone which was in its initialisation... yet, i hasn't lost my spirit.. i was still one of the most dignified mediums of communication and notification.. my aura wasn't hidden yet , but soon , i began to sense that my end is a little near.
We began to shift towards the space age , afterall I've realised that humans like Change.. they're busy evoluting new changes into their community .
Soon that shiny telephone became popular.. and i was limited to be taught in schools.. and now my existence is most probably near to negligence.
i think i wont be able to rejunevate myself ever back again .. I'm pensive, I'm afraid.
my simple message to my readers , never forget your shine , I mean , never let people forget your Shine as people forgot mine to ruin in the tides of time . Be you and keep serving , that's the ultimate pleasure. :)

Dear Reader:
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits. Well, I don’t know who you are as I wrote myself while travelling through time to drop a very important message. I hardly get any time to halt and interact with anyone personally. Well, since I keep travelling in the future also, I have a very urgent message for the people living in the current times.
Since I have seen the future, I must warn you to take care of your present in order to ensure a safe future. The present rate at which natural resources are being overused, there will be a drastic scarcity. I have seen the blood-curdling consequences of some horrible man-made catastrophes happening in future; I have seen the Satan of pollution swallowing the beauty and purity of life; I have seen the inferno of hell caused by nuclear war; my message to the people living in the contemporary time and space to avert those catastrophes by putting your acts right.
If possible rally people against nukes and other WMDs. Stop taking life for granted. Get rid of terrorism and fanaticism.
Kindly give my messages to as many people as you can to live according to the higher principles of life. Ask people to live according to the grand plans of the Universal Will instead of indulging in petty materialistic race of greed and vested interests.
Do good deeds. Love one another. Learn to forgive one another. And most importantly, learn to serve one another. Overcome your petty egos and develop in you a sense of belongingness to this Universe and Life.
I am a well-wisher of mankind and want it to evolve into advanced levels. I hope you will take my messages seriously and spread it among as many people as you can. Wishing you all the best and a great future.
