(Mowgli jumps from a tree, first appearance)
Reporter: (surprised) Jeez! A wolf!
Mowgli: (hiding a smile) I'm not a wolf.
Reporter: How can you speak?
Mowgli: I'm a man cub, just like you.
Reporter: (laughs) Man cub? You are funny.
Mowgli: What's so funny?
Reporter: Nothing.
Mowgli: Tell me now, I want to know.
(Mowgli threatens the reporter with a knife)
Reporter: (terrified) Hey hey hey! It seems you don't know how to behave.
Mowgli: What?
Reporter: Why are you here in the first place? Why aren't you at the village? Where are your parents?
Mowgli: I live here. The jungle is my family. And my parents aren't men.
Reporter: Your story sounds interesting. Would you mind sharing it with me?
Mowgli: No I wouldn't but only if you tell me what was funny in my sentence.
Reporter: It's just that in us, men as you call it, we don't call our young ones as cubs. Cubs, we use that word for animals. Our young ones are called children.
Mowgli: Oh. But why is it different for animals?
Reporter: (slightly disgusted) Now you are comparing us with those stupid creatures?
Mowgli: (agitated)Don't you dare call them stupid! They took me in when my own kind couldn't keep me safe. They are a thousand times better than you.
Reporter: (alarmed) I am sorry. But can we start with your story? I would love to know about you.
Mowgli: (calming down a bit) Ok
✌️ hope it helps✌️❤️
