Report on the need of organ or blood donation

An interview was held on 7th October with the director of a well known hospital named SVIMS hospital.

In this interview, the director requested to donate blood or organ in their hospital if any person is willing to. They will give the necessary money to those people who donates. As lots of patients, needs donation of blood and due to shortage of blood in the blood bank, the hospital is not being able to fulfill the requirements of the patients. So, if anybody likes to help them, please visit the hospital and have a talk with the managers.

Urgency in Organ and Blood Donation

New Delhi 04January: India has made remarkable progress in the Medicinal field of Organ Transplant. The Director of SVIMS, Mr. A.B informed the TOI that he receives about twenty cases every week of Organ Transplant.

So far they have been successful in almost 99% cases. However the hospital is facing an acute crisis in finding the appropriate organs and Blood.

The Director stated that blood and organ donation is very poor. Most people do not want to donate the organs of their dear ones as they suffer from baseless superstitions.

The amount of blood donated is also very less. The Director has urged all Indians to come forward and generously donate blood and also to encourage the donation of organs.
