Dear Diary:
I am approximately 23.7 million kilometers away from my dear earth. 30.9 million more kilometers to go before the space craft touches down on Mars! I will have to wait 100 more days. I have already been in the space craft for more than 50 days. Though it is an adventurous voyage, I have started missing my life on earth. I am fortunate in a way also; I am able to see the vistas of deep space which I could never see while on earth. The real vistas are 1000 times more beautiful than the ones on internet. I have my crew members of this Mars mission. We are going to set up a colony there. Soon, many more people from earth will begin to travel to Mars. I will request the Government to send my family to Mars. Ok diary. I have got to go now. My shift to steer the spacecraft is going to start in 10 minutes. Bye.

We were going back home and then rocks were floating everywhere and it was really scary because my dad was getting really sweaty and hot. All of a sudden a rock hit the ship and then the ship was flipping around i was really scared. Then a false alarm went on and it said the engine is getting really rusty so my dad told me to drive the ship until i come back because something is happening at the back of the ship. But i was worried because i thought we will never make it back home to our family. But i was wrong so i thought to myself that i could do this so i gripped on to the steering wheel and had hope in myself also for my dad. My dad went to the back and saw what was wrong with the ship. A big rock got stuck in the engine and it stopped the engine from working so my dad fixed the engine then ran to the front and told me to go to the other seat. Me and my dad drove off and went back to land safely. I loved going to space but i do not want to go there again!
