I am stomach,
I am connected with the food pipe, I took part in digestion of food.
I am a J-shaped organ present on the left side of the abdomen. The food further digests in stomach. The food is churned in stomach for about 2-3 hours.
The stomach wall contains three tabular glands in its walls . The glands present in the wall secrete gastric juices, which contains substances such as HCl, enzyme pepesin and mucus.

Let me introduced my function and metabolism.


FUNCTION:-

1.I am divided into four chambers consisting of two atria and two ventricles; the atria receive blood, while the ventricles pump blood.

2.The right atrium receives blood from the superior and inferior vena cavas and the coronary sinus; blood then moves to the right ventricle where it is pumped to the lungs.

3.The lungs re-oxygenate the blood and send it to the left atrium.

Blood moves from the left atrium to the left ventricle via the bicuspid valve; blood is pumped out of the left ventricle to the aorta, which sends blood to the organs and muscles of the body.

STRUCTURE:- I am a complex muscle pumps blood through the three divisions of the circulatory system: the coronary (vessels that serve to me), pulmonary (Myself and lungs), and systemic (systems of the body). Coronary circulation intrinsic to the me takes blood directly from the main artery (aorta) coming from me. For pulmonary and systemic circulation, I has to pump blood to the lungs or the rest of the body, respectively . LOCATION:- I am located between the right and left lungs, in the middle of the chest .
