I am a cactus. I am not a favorite plant for most of people. I am not as beautiful as many other fancy plants. Yet, I am a very important plant. Mostly I grow in deserts. I have learnt to protect me by growing thorns and pricks on me. These thorny spikes keep predators away from me. These thorny spikes actually are my leaves. They are very useful to me. Without them I would not live. When flowers bloom on me, I protect them using my spikes. So, I should not be hated for my unique looks.
