I sat in the raft, motionless, listening to some weird sound. I could not identify the source of the sound until I looked down. Beneath me, were swimming some peculiar creatures. The chondrichythes appeared to be waiting for their prey. With every complete round the gargantuan fishes made, my heartbeat grew faster. Sweat started to roll down the back of my neck. I knew this was the end. I sat there, petrified, waiting for my end. Just when I thought I was taking my last breath, a hand shook me violently. With my blurred vision I saw my mum, furiously yelling at me, "Annie! You're late for school again! Wake up you sloth!"
