There is a story based on it... which was of the three kings... one was Ambhi the king of Takshila ,Sikandar the king of Unan and he wanted to win India and wanted to become a very brave king and wanted to become the strongest... but he could not do that.
Ambhi was a coword king and had given his part of kingdom to Sikandar, without fighting. But he could not defeat Puru, the great king. He was even imprisoned by Sikandar...
In Hindi we also say ' wo apne irade par tike rahe... '
