The Sea Voyage
Few years ago, I went to a sea voyage with my family. When we planned for a sea voyage everyone of our joint family agreed at once.
On the decided date we reached Digha. We set for exploring the sea at about 1pm in a ship with the fishermen and some specially trained divers. The fishermen go to the middle of the sea everyday, so they were experiencd and we knew it was safe to be with them.
It was sunny day and a cool breeze was blowing. Our ship moved forward, bit by bit into the blue... deep blue sea. I stood in the deck of the ship. The view where the sky met sea was amazing. It was looking as if the sky was bending to hug the sea. The waves were hitting the bottom of the ship. The way the waves were coming together and going away were looking fascinating. As our ship moved further from the seashore, the frequency of waves decreased. Very few waves - but big waves were hitting the ship. Gradually we reached almost the middle of the sea. Guess what? Was it wild? No. The centre was the calmest. We could sea some sea fishes summing there. At far away two dolphins were playing. The waves were no more hitting our ship. We waited. The fishermen's threw their net and after 15minutes or so we saw a net being pulled up with almost fifty fishes. On our request the fishermen set those poor fishes free on that day. We stayed there, in the middle of the sea for a quiet long time, seeing the pleasant view and enjoying the scenery, appreciating the silence of the sea.
After an hour which seemed to be few minutes our elders told we should go back to the shore as it was soon going to be 4pm. We returned via the same route but it was as exciting as the first journey was. Finally we reached the shore. Everytime I close my eyes I can still clearly visualise the view of the beautiful blue scenery -- a place where the sky met the sea.

We liked the view out this window this day we could really experience gale force winds in the Pacific Ocean by seeing waves that were 30 feet down from the window.
