MY DOG GRAHAM
Explanation:
- Dear Diary,
- I was an eye-witness to the havoc caused by the earthquake which I have seen on the T.V. or read about in newspapers.
- I was at the top of the hill with my family picnic. I play with my pet dog graham I love him very much, he is my first gift when I hit a teenage. I don't know what happen to him suddenly he became restless. He barks continuously toward town. He runs toward the town.
- Suddenly I hear a strange rattle and saw the earth make a light trembling up-and-down movement far off. We were terrified. I saw the buildings of the town shaking, collapsing, and struggling, I then saw the earth making a long gap. And thousands of people falling into the gap.
- Animals and vehicles too fell into it and my dog graham also fell in it. I rush toward him but my parents take me opposite side. I shouted 'Don't Die, Graham, Don't Die". After a few minutes, the earthquake stopped and the deep gap turned into a pit of about ten meters in depth.
- The earth swallowed thousands of people and animals. The collapse of buildings killed about twelve thousand people.
- We descended from the top of the hill, started our car, and I rush toward the pit to see Graham and others also rushing towards it to rescue the people still alive in it.
- With tears, we lent our hands to the rescue work.
- Those people who were swallowed by the earth must have been crushed to death within a few seconds.
- I have lost my interest in life. I miss him.
