Joseph was introduced to me when he first arrived at the Milk Company. He was a big white horse and did not have a name. He was so soft and had a splendid belly. Since he was kind, gentle and faithful, I named him after Saint Joseph.

He was smart and learnt the milk route within a year. He didn't need reins; his spirit was shining out of his eyes. We delivered milk for fifteen years and became best friends during that time.
