Through the prestigious columns of your esteemed daily, I want to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards the problem of the reckless driving near G. H. S, Hubli. Most of the accidents take place due to reckless driving. People in their hurry don't care to follow traffic rules. Truck drivers are generally drunk and young rash scooterists, all add to the number of accidents in the country. This has created panic among the students of our school. This is creating a bad impact on the students too. In addition to the risk of any accident with the student of our school, the noise created by their speeding vehicles can also not be ruled out. Reckless driving may lead to any mishappening.
The problem has been taken up with the authorities time and again but mere assurances were given and the problem persists as before.
If no immediate action is taken then the students of our school will be in a deep trouble.
I hope you would be kind enough to publish this letter in your esteemed newspaper so that the higher authorities will wake up from their slumber and take concrete steps to overcome this problem at the earliest.
