I'm felling so proud on me and my granddaughter that I got literate.As I was able to read my favorite novel Kashi Yatre for the first time which was an amazing experience for me to read as at first I could not read anything.

"Today I am very happy as this is my first diary entry on the auspicious day of Saraswati pooja!
In the past few months I had been routinely taking Kannada lessons from my twelve-year-old granddaughter , who gifted me the novel 'Kashi Yatre' today . It was more like a signature moment for me when I read out the cover page of the novel on my own !
My hardworking and determination helped me accomplish my dream of being literate. In my childhood, I never received any formal education. After marriage, I have been serving as the master-chef of my family! But literacy has made my very presence worthwhile ! Now I intend to teach Kannada to the poor villagers of Shiggaon .
Young Sudha is the only teacher I will always look up to till my last breath ...
