Dear diary,

I couldn't believe my eyes when I witnessed the beautiful, mesmerizing sight.

I had always dreamed about going to this place, I thought about it constantly. The mountains were so pretty. The lake over there was clear and cool. I stepped into it and sensed the cool water tingling my feet. When night fell, I sat under the dark blanket of stars.

Just like I had imagined, I heard the crickets at night, but the sounds were much more loud than what I had expected.

I must go now, will write some more later.
