Dear diary

It has been a week since I sent my transfer application to the head office. I am sure they must have received it at least three days ago, but they still haven't acknowledged it. As much as I like this place and it's simple people, like Lencho, I need to get transferred to the city. My children's education is taking a serious hit, and more so since they are both now stepping into senior school. They need to shift to a school with better amenities and more dedicated staff. The sooner I get to know the status of my request, the easier it will be for me to make the necessary arrangements, especially in case they don't grant my request. Then I will have to consider visiting the head office in person and meeting the higher authorities.
