the students of Delhi Public School Durgapur, had organized a special assembly on Durga Puja, which was held in the school premises on 22nd September’2017.

The programme was based on the theme of nine different forms of Goddess Durga, who were worshipped by Lord Rama before he killed Ravana. This was portrayed through a skit followed by mesmerizing and energetic dance performances on ‘Aye Girinandini’ in praise of Goddess Durga and her nine forms of ‘Shakti’. It ended with another vigorous dance performance where Goddess Durga kills the demon called Mahishasura. The parents of the participants too viewed and admired the enthusiasm with which the children had put up the message of ‘Durgotsava’. On this auspicious occasion, CINI, an organization under SERVE was handed over a cheque of Rs.1,86,823 by the students.
