Points to include:

Dear Ma'am/Sir/Miss,

Subject line:

-Why are you writing this email?

(eg) I am writing to you to inform you that I am unwell and will not be able to attend class/school for the next couple of days.

Body:

- What happened to you and when?

(eg) I woke up with a terrible ache in my head this morning and have not been able to get up ever since.

-Justify your subject line

(eg) Seeing that school/classes are held online, the increased screen time would not help me, instead, only aggravate the pain (optional- as you would know).

- Run back to the subject line

(eg) Therefore, I believe it makes more sense for me to miss out on the classes/school and return once I feel better.

- Comfort the teacher

(eg) I assure you that I will be able to cover up and finish everything that I will miss during these few days.

Thank you for understanding.

Regards,
