We were, at Kochi. There we went to the sea beach. We enjoyed there for 1 hour. At the beach enjoying with the sea wave.
After one hour there was warning that, we must leave the beach immediately. The instruction was, by the Coast Guard. Somehow coast guard managed us to leave, at the hotel. Thanks to the coast guard who left us, at the hotel safely to us.
Diary entry describing the cyclone drill:

17th September 2019,
9:30 pm.
Dear diary,
As you know that we went to Puri for a beach holiday last week, and that there was a cyclone alert by the weather department. The months from August to October in the Bay of Bengal is termed as Cyclone season, and unfortunately we were present there at that time. Although the cyclone was about to hit the coast in three days, the authorities wanted to clear the area because it was a very strong cyclone. The Coast Guards conducted a drill to make sure that people knew what to do in cyclonic weather. The drill was very informing and we were about to leave the hotel next morning, but the weather worsened in the night and next morning there was strong winds and heavy rainfall. The Coast Guards started evacuating the beach side and we were also asked to pack our belongings and to get on a bus which would take us to the capital Bhubaneshwar and from there we were to take a flight to reach Delhi. Thanks to the Coast Guard that we were all safe and reached our home safely.
