Dear Diary:

I am very sad today. My father has left me. I am to be blamed. I acted selfishly and greedily! I have really let him down and disappointed him; my eyes opened after he left us!

I deserved what he did to me after the revelation! I should not have assumed he was dead; instead of wrangling over his property! We must have called Dr. Pringle or any other doctor to examine his state!

I am a mean woman. That’s why in the end I lost not only my share of his property, but his love also. Now, he will live with Mrs. John Shorrocks.
