Dear diary,
Today I went to meet Socrates by the river as he had told me yesterday so that he would tell me about the secrets of success. I was dearly eager to learn the secrets of success from the wise man. When I got to the river, Socrates asked me to walk with him towards the river and when the waters of the rivers had reached our necks he deliberately ducked me into the water. I had struggles for survival in the water almost drowning, then he pulled me out of the water. I could not hesitate to take a deep breath of air immediately I was out of the water.Socrates asked, 'What did you want the most when you were in there?" The boy replied, "Air." Socrates said, "That is the secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted the air, then you will get it." There is no other secret.
