Dear Diary
I am so happy today! I have stood first in the painting competition organized by our school. I have received so many compliments from all. My parents, grandparents, and teachers are over the moon. My grandfather has promised to gift me my favorite bike. Achieving this success was not easy. I just followed the basics. I did not waste my single moment in useless distractions. I just practiced, practiced, and practiced. I made a time table, and conscientiously stuck to it. I burnt not only the midnight oil, but the early morning oil also. At school I stayed focused all the time. I did not watch TV at all. Thus working I realized, if a student utilizes his time optimally, he can do wonders. TV, friends, loafing around are the greatest enemies of all the students. I realized studies are not difficult at all; developing the right attitude to studies, and focusing our mind on studies is difficult. Hard work really pays off and that too with huge dividends. Not only I improved my knowledge, I secured A1 in all the subjects. My parents, my teachers, and everyone is so happy. I am the happiest of all. This happiness of hard-earned achievement is thousand times sweeter than shallow pleasures of distractions. If just the hard-work and discipline of a few months can bring so much joy and fulfillment, how much joy and satisfaction will I get if I continue to be industrious and disciplined all m life! I promise you dear diary, I will always be focused and self-disciplined in life henceforth.

Dear diary,
Today was one of the best days of my life. In our school, a painting competition was held and the topic was "Make my city green". And I got 1st prize. I was very as I got 1st prize in the competition.
My class teacher and my friends congrats me. My parents were so happy and my father promised to give me a bicycle. This was possible because of my hard work. I was practising on s every day and now we can see the result. So it meant a lot to me. This was one of the best achievements in my life. Now I am going to sleep
