Dear diary,
I am very happy today! I finished first in the painting competition organized by our school. I have received many compliments from everyone. My parents, grandparents and teachers are over the moon. My grandfather has promised to gift me my favorite bike. Achieving this success was not easy. I just followed the basics. I have not wasted a single moment of my useless interruptions. I just practiced, practiced and practiced. I made a time table and dutifully clung to it. I burned not only midnight oil, but morning oil as well. In school, I was focused all the time. I did not watch TV at all. Working in this way I realized, if a student uses his time with hope, he can work miracles. TV, friend, roam is the biggest enemy of all students. I realized that studying is not difficult; It is difficult to develop the right attitude towards studies and to focus our attention on studies. Hard work really pays off and that too with huge dividends. Not only did I improve my knowledge, I achieved A1 in all subjects. My parents, my teachers and everyone are very happy. I am most happy. This joy of hard work is a thousand times sweeter than the shallow joy of hard work. If only a few months of hard work and discipline can bring so much joy and fulfillment, if I remain in hard work and discipline all my life, how much happiness and satisfaction I will get! I promise you dear diary, so I will always be focused and self-disciplined in life.
