Dear Heismann,

I hope you are enjoying your life in France. Hitler's troops have swept through, and I was stuck in a Concentration Camp for nearly a month.
Here I met Herr Rauloff. We were taken from Warsaw, from camp to camp we travelled. Then we were in Dachau. Leaving Berlin as the month began, I and Herr Raluloff arrived in Dachau. Here we luckily escaped with our lives. Herr Rauloff and I ran to many places and fled the country. Luckily, I'm safe now. Herr Rauloff has left for America. I've found my Stiefwatter and Stiefmutter and now I'm in Austria.
