First of all being the sarpanch of a village is a huge responsibility . If i would get an oppurtunity to become the village sarpanch than I would be doing the following programs in the village .

1) I would first of all launch several awarness programs regarding sanitation and safe drinking water so that the common people can be aware about the benifits of having a toilet in their houses .

2) I would conduct programs regarding the eradication of social cultures and practices prevelant in the society for instance child marriage . I would conduct awarness program regarding child marriage make the people aware about the effects of early marriage .etc

3) I would launch programs of establishing highly effective judicial authorities in the village so that the locals of the village can get justice and the violators of the law would be punished .

4) I would launch effective employment and self- employment programs so that all the local people can be employed due to which their living standard can be ugraded .

5) Lastly , I would establish schools and collages and not only encourage people to make their sons educated but also encourage them to send their daughters to school as well.

             Hence , If i was the village chief i would do such programs .
