Imagine yourself as President of India for a day and the one task assigned to you is abolishing social inequality (discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, race, and colours). As a President you would have access to resources and tremendous powers over several matters. a) How would you go about it? b) Suggest ways that you think would abolish social inequality?

I would go in such a way like first I will let all ministers of the country to take an immediate action on those who will do such type of discrimination.

The following are some suggestions to abolish social inequality :

• Make inequality a political campaign issue
• Introduce land reforms and raise taxation for the wealth
• Give a voice to oppressed group
• Improve the balance of mass media
• Eliminate cast discrimination
• Harness the power of teleology
• Make women more visible in public life and institutions

If we do the follows suggestions we may slowly eliminate such type of discriminations
