EXPLANATION:

If I were the education minister I would make the following laws related to my department.

• No homework will be the first law I will make. All sorts of revisions have to be done in school itself, and the schools have to provide a compulsory one-hour sports time. It will increase the time of schooling but it will certainly keep children's pressures away. Any school that does not comply with these rules could also be cancelled.
• Revise examination format. The questionnaires will require students to critically think about the solutions instead of the regular form of tests which sometimes contain clear answers. There would be focus on professional activities and not just mugging. Instead of the current system of three, the number of term assessments would be reduced to two a year for all classes in schools. The students may reduce the burden and allow them a breath to pursue other talents.
• School admissions would be via merit or access. Any compulsory interview or assessment will take place for children in the nursery. Donation and gifts are treated as a crime and the parties involved are specifically punished
• There will be less books carried by students. For all the subjects, there would be a broad textbook.  
• In order to be motivated enough to be better teachers, I will try to raise the salaries of the teachers in city schools. I will also plan to open free classes for marginalized students and make constructive use of public funds.
