I got a change to fly over the city today and I am actually disheartened after seeing people face so many problems.
I thought that I would come across some high buildings and happy people but my sight was filled with people living in poverty.
People are living in poverty and the standard of life is next to zero.
One thing that I liked about people living in widespread poverty is the habit of never giving up. Even though they are facing so many issues, they still want to keep going .

Dear Diary:
Tonight I am going to share with you my sadness that I felt after seeing the misery and sorrows of the poor living in the city of the Happy Prince. I was on my way to Egypt when I decided to rest for the night in the city. I sat under a golden statue of a prince. Quite strangely, that statue was crying. It was the statue of the Happy Prince. It told me it was crying for the poor of the city. I flew over the city and saw a poor seamstress who did not have enough money to buy oranges for her sick son. The kind Prince asked me to carry his ruby to the seamstress to help her financially. Next night the prince asked me to carry one of his sapphires to a young, hungry, and needy writer; the next nigh the happy prince asked me to help a poor match girl whose matches had fallen and been spoiled. I took his second sapphire to the girl. Thus, I have seen lots of poverty and sorrow in this city. I am impressed with the generosity of the Happy Prince. I am planning to stay with him to help the poor. That’s all dear dairy. Good night.
