Dear Diary,
Today I visited Connie Macpherson, Jim Macpherson's wife. It was a tough moment for me to hand her over the letter and the gift from Jim Macpherson. I was unaware of the fact that Connie had written so many letters to her husband and was expecting her husband to be coming home this Christmas. When she saw me instead of her husband, I could see dismay in her eyes and sadness that cropped up her face. I wish I could do something to make her feel better, but I had to do my duty, so I handed over the gift to her.
